Watercooling, where to start?

As WJA said above there are other cpu options - the HK3 and XT are both at the top of the i7 performance tables.

Not a fan of high restriction block at all. But T3 loops or DDC ultra single block loops are not normal loops.

The Typhoon3 is at it's best when both loops are balanced (but it's not essential by any means see skinnie's test results)
If it wasn't for the increase in pump noise I own a T3 in a heartbeat as it's perfect for multi block watercooling.
But parrelell loops are not the same as duel or series loops. If all your kit is highflow Deadman (as mine is)
then you will have a lot of freedom in arranging your loops.

high flow the only way to go! :) saying that my Ek supreme worked ok without the impinging plate but the Delta V3 was so much better.

I have a xspc edge - the high flow king of blocks - So I fully understand where you are coming from.
Wouldn't put a supreme anywhere near my loop (but then I don't like fan either :)) - But WJA 'very strange beast' comment, is I beleive quite correct.
It's one of the reason the supreme does so well in some reviews/round ups and so poorly in others.
