Watercooling

That's promising for me then :)

I have opted for sharkoon SE 1000's, i know there are better performing fans out there, but i am a bit of a snob, and thus like it to look the part too. How would you rate these fans on your quoted system? (i'm guessing you'll tell me yate loons are better ;))

yates are normally cheaper thats for sure..

Personally I'd use anything like yates, sharkoons, panaflo, papst etc.

What I'm saying is not cheapo fans and probably not things like akasa ambers because they are very quiet but move very little air.

ok, so my current thinking is this, using a Lian-Li PC-V300:

would it work ?

I want it to be super cool, hence 2 rads. Overkill, crazy ?

just take the dimensions... a 120.2 rad is roughly 120x2 = 240mm by 120mm add an inch eaither way.. that may not be an ideal case, but i think if you want a rad box, then you are certainly on the right track. Your other option is to build one youself, i guess it all come down to how much tima and money you have really.

If you do decide on the rad box, whether it's home made or a modded case, i would be very interested to see what it's like.

In the mean time, the very last componant of my water cooling is to arrive tomorrow, so i'll be doing that most of the day.. i've started a thread somewhere and i'll be updating it as i go along.. bring on the excitement! :D

The PC-343 is roomy enough for watercooling, cos that's what I've done

got a Thermochill PA120.3 in the right hand side of the case mounted using the lian-li radiator brackets.

There's also space in the top for a 120.2, which I may add at some point for a dedicated graphics loop, or something mad.

I'll rig up some pictures when I get home :)

btw, I'm basically running the following

Thermochill PA120.3 radiator with 6 x yate-loons in push/pull
Laing DDC ultra with petra's top
D-tek fuzion
EK8800GTX waterblock
7/16 tubing
