Way of reading which CCD has the X3D?

Ah ok. Running out of ideas then. Definitely the latest motherboard drivers installed? Perhaps try an older version?.. uninstall, disable internet then reboot and install again?

Give me the CPU and I'll give you my working 7950X3D? err I mean "test it in another system if possible"

The fact i have set the service to delayed means i am going to need to spend a bit of time to wor out if the change has made a difference, I am currently on the latest version of the BIOS (version 1605 dated 22/07/25).

I am not completely against doing a clean install of windows without things like winaero, but if i can avoid doing so, i would pretfer to do it this way because i would rather understand what has been causing it, rather then doing a clean install without understanding the cause of the problem.
