General Rant:

So Men and Woman have seperate toilets - Obviously a woman sits all the time (as far as I know

) and the cubicles are enclosed so why not share the toilet facility.....Privacy I here you say, equality? etc....

Why cant hetrosexuals have seperate toilets to homosexuals? Same applies to changing rooms - as much as I'd like to share with a woman

So you would have 4 restrooms installed in every location, one for gay men one for straight men, one for gay women, and one for straight women? I really don't think that there are enough gay folks to necessitate such humongous expense.

Alternatively, would you have the male and female restrooms rebranded as gay and straight? I think I'd be going to the gayer room so I didn't have to wait in line.

There are a lot of toilets on the continent which are unisex. Exactly for the reason stated - that women can go into the cubicles and the men can go to the urinals. It works pretty well, and no doubt can be quite a meritorious venture

Indeed, seems a slightly odd idea. I imagine some gay people would be rather offended by the suggestion that they shouldn't be allowed to use the same facilities as anyone else, what exactly is the point? Is there a single advantage to your plan?

As for men and women having seperate facilities, would you really like a woman wandering past while you're using the urinal?

Most clubs in Leeds already have unisex toilets. It isnt a problem I dont think as long as the women dont have to physically walk past the the point where you pecker goes then there is no issue.

Maybe gay people would prefer there own facilities - I dont know?

No plan - just ranting - I guess I'd be offended if a gay guy eyed me up in the loo (maybe thats wishfull thinking LOL - joke) Having a woman walk past me would'nt bother me.

its the same in my work place, each toilet block has 4 cubicles and 4 sinks only. why distinguish between male and female?

I think he's implying there should be unisex toilets by giving the crazy example that we should have all sorts of different toilets, as it follows on from the logic of men and women not going to the loo in the same place.

He has a point, without making sweeping generalisations, why should a hetero woman feel any more comfortable about Homo women being in the same bathroom than she does about a hetero guy?
