Righty-ho,

Was intending to do this a while back but didn't get round to doing it in the end becuase I purchased upgrades :)

I'm going to do it now becuase I have a decent setup that i'll keep for a good long time so I thought why not

Here's the rig:

>Intel i5 2500k @ 4.4ghz will push more when WC.
>Asus P8P67 Deluxe Mobo
>4gb XMS3 Corsair 1600mhz cas8 (Not really needed for WC but listed anyway)
>MSI Twin Frozr II GTX580 @ mini OC will soon increase
>Another GTX580 for SLI will go in eventually so will buy to accomodate for its arrival.
>And the case is a Cooler Master HAF 922 so quite a lot of space to work with.

Don't really have a budget(Not showing off) but this is more intended to get a price on a loop of that size then debate if I want to shell out for it or not :p

Been doing some research and been reading that I may need a dual rad setup to keep all cooled. But what about the 4x120mm Black Ice rad?

Here's what i've chosen so far, total noob here so probably not correct:

EK Fullcover GTX 580 Waterblock - Nickel Plexi x2
Swiftech MCP350 10W 12V DC Pump
XSPC Acrylic Dual 5.25" Reservoir for Laing D5 (MCP655)
Black Ice SR-1 480 Radiator
EK-Supreme HF - Full Nickel CPU Water Block

Not sure about it all but EK gets a lot of mentions when Water cooling so i'm guessing they are pretty good?

That Swiftech MCP350 doesn't go with that res. You'll want a Laing D5 for that (the D5 is better anyway). For that res you would get a D5 and put it inside.

Wait the MCP350 doesn't work with the first bay res or the EK res?

whats the noise like in total for a WC setup? Main reason i'm going WC is for it to be quiter than air is right now.

They says the Laing d5 is super quiet so I have faith in them reviews!

I'm guessing Water cooling tech doesn't change all that often so will this stuff still be good in 2 months or so? As I might go for another gtx580 before purchasing this lot.

Also i'm definitely going to need a 1200w PSU for this whole rig aren't I?

Yes the d5 is quiet.

Water is quiet if you buy good gear so you dont need loud fans.

No the tech eyes not come out that often so you will be ok for a few months if not longer.

You will not need a psu that big. 1000w will easy power your rig

In AvP with SLI 580s they can pull 750w solid on an i7 system. I curently have an 850w corsair but would rather have the overhead just incase.

Mmm don't know. But that's all good for my rig? Also will I need 2 rads or will the 480 do the job?

What else will I need? Spec me some quiet fans and all the liquids and barbs etc pleasee? :)
