Well I think my drive's goosed!
It passes any basic tests but I've just started the WD DLG Extended test which "could" take up to 7 hours...it hit a certain point early on and made some horrendous noises during which time the "time left" rocketed to 20 hours.
It's my games drive and i've noticed in TF2 that I get some annoying pauses which are totally random. I also get some strange noises from the HD which sound uncharacteristic of any HD that I've ever used! I'm kinda hoping that it fails the WD DLG test as hopefully that'll be the root cause of my issues in games.
Are these known to have issues?
