i'm looking at getting either of the following (replacing my 80Gb Seagate and maybe my 36Gb Raptor as well):-
Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB 3200KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-070-WD)
OR
Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 NCQ 250GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (0A31636) (HD-002-HI)
(i know one is 320Gb and the other 250Gb!).
The T7K250 is by all accounts a very good drive but has anyone got the WD above?
If so any comments....good speed and quiet enough?
I fancy the extra space for a few more quid, the 400Gb & 500Gb models are to much to justify the extra cost.
