Ok, this hdd is really weird, on some computers it powers up just fine, however when plugged into my dfi expert and tagan 580w it makes a horrible clunking noise and isnt detected.
The only way to get it to work is to allow the system to get halfway through post then plug the power connector in.
I have tried diff molex power , sata power, different channels, controllers and nothing but essentials plugged in and i cant get it to work on startup.
Recon this calls for rma or is there a solution?
