WD Black Edition Raid

Hi.

Would I see any performance boosts from getting 2 WD Black edition hard drives over 2 standard WD hard drives in raid?

Reason I ask is that They'd cost around £15 less per drive, would it be worth it.

never heard of black edition maybe u meant black caviar ?

Yes, My mistake, I meant Black Caviar. I've already got 2 of them 120gb ones (a few years old now). They'd be used to store some files and games on. As I need space as a priority. Would it be better if I got a Samsung SpinPoint F1 drive instead?

i think you should get Samsung SpinPoint F3 instead black caviar they bit faster i and cheaper as well .
