Thanks for posting, hopefully AMD and Western Digital can come up with a fix, as I was going to use this drive on the chipset M.2 slot.

That looks pretty similar, maybe it's the m.2 slots and PCIE avoid the issue?

Or maybe that drive hasn't heard the news that it should act slower...

I haven't got this drive but I did find 1 of my drives was underperforming and for some strange reason after doing a complete cleanup of the system n clearing out temp files etc it's performance came back, strange

Would these drives work on Linux?
I mean no firmware needed.
I've deleted my Windows account, and changed from Windows10 to Linux, currently using PopOS.
