WD Caviar Green 2TB Problems

I bought 2 of these a couple of weeks ago for my WHS and I've had nothing but problems with them. They were fine at first, formatted and installed no problems but since then I've had HDD failure messages from my server. Luckily I had a couple of spares drives so I could take them out to look at them.

Stuck them both in my PC this morning to check them and I can see one in computer management but not the other. Also just been on the WD Forums and there's quite a lot of negative posts about these drives. Bit loathe to stick them back in my server in case they go again. Is it best just to ask for replacements?

Update: Getting replacements so hopefully they'll be better ones!

Let us know how they perform.Got 1 of these last wek and am having probs transfer starts at 110MBS + and rapidly drops to around 19MBS where it stays during transfer of files
W7 os and manually aligned still same

What system setup have you for your WHS?
Any chance the box is overheating around the HDD bays?

Update:Had connected the hdd to the front sata caddy thingy on my antec case ,decided to direct connect to the mobo using the same cables and speeds average around 50+ , much better
looks like the adapter bit in the case dosen`t like the new format drive(old/normal hdd work fine speedwise
