WD Elements vs WD My Book external USB drives? What's the difference?

Looking to get a 12tb or 14tb external USB drive. I notice Western Digital do them in both the "Elements" range and "My Book" range, but I can't work out if/what the difference is why?

Why have two units that are basically the same?


Note: The 12TB Elements drive it £80 cheaper than the My Book version. BUT, the 14TB Elements us £10 more than the My Book version!!??!!?!

Not interested in software, but a longer warranty is always nice (within reason).

Are the drive the same typically? - I believe the 12-14tb drives are probably the helium filled ones?
