I recently bought a Western Digital hard disk off Overclockers as well as a bunch of other stuff. Going by the condition of the parcels box, City Link gave it some pretty rough treatment.

The hard disk is definitely broken so I need to RMA the thing but I've never done it before so I'm a little confused.

Once I get the RMA number from the WD site, do I send the HDD back to Overclockers or to Western Digital?

I contacted OcUk and they've given me an RMA number. I'll be sending it back later today. I just got confused as Western Digital also have an RMA service but I didn't know which one I was to contact.

I always get quite a few problems with City Link. They seem completely incapable of finding my flat even though its clearly numbered and on the main road and my parcels always look beaten up!

What I don't get is why the Royal Mail, SPDS, UPS and DHL can find my flat all without a problem but all City Link ever do is claim they carded my flat as no-one was in but no card is actually left.

The most annoying thing is that I take days off work to sit in and wait for them and they just waste my time over and over again.

It's always best to send DOA (DeadOnArrival) back to where you bought it as the seller is legally obliged to reimburse the return postage you incur.
