WD New Hard drive problem

I received a Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-046-WD) from OCUK this morning and I'm having a problem with it. It's the main HD on a new system I've built, but it's only showing 127GB available. Now I know the amount of actual space on the drive is always a bit less than advertised, but from 250gb to 127gb is a bit much. I thought I might have been shipped the wrong drive, so I removed the drive and checked the label.

WD Caviar SE16
Serial ATA Hard Drive
Drive Parameters: LBA 488397168 250.0GB
WD P/N: WD2500KS - 00MJB0

Can anyone tell me why I'm only getting 127GB from this drive? :(

*EDIT* I've checked the drive info on the system again and it looks like it's the correct drive, so I'm guessing it's something to do with the sata drivers. I didn't use a sata driver disk at windows setup because it detected the drive. The MB installation CD gives the option of making a Silicon Image 32bit sata driver disk or a ULi 32bit/64bit SATA driver disk. Does anyone know which of these I should use at windows setup?

are you using XP SP 2?

This should recognise the correct size disk

What motherboard are you using BTW?

I read the sticky, so I guess I'm having the 127gb size limit problem. The fix listed in the sticky didn't work for me though so I'm going to try and format the drive in my own system, then use it for a clean install in the new one. Hopefully that's going to fix it. I did upgrade to XP SP2 and the MB is an A8R32-MVP Deluxe.
