Hi there,

I can get this model very cheap:

WD800GD Western Digital 80GB WD Raptor Serial ATA Drive

Now I wanna get rid of the one 80GB IDE disk I've got left where I have my OS on, would this be a good buy to swap it or are these old and underperforming?

Regards

Wow never knew that. lol

Cant buy em in the shops?

:D Nah I read in some thread on another forum that companies could order them only on the dell site. Can't buy these in the shops nope.

Found one for 112 Dollar inclusive delivery to my country (the netherlands) I thought that was pretty cheap (well at least if I convert it to Euros)

Get me two please?;)

not sure about the 80 gigs but I have 2 150s and there great , they can be a little noisy but worth it if you ask me.;)
Where you thinking of getting 2 and setting them up in raid.

Hehe ok well I think I'll order one, they are refurbished and tested so I hope I'm not buying a bad HD. Got them off the bay. He has a whole bunch more...

if anyone is interested, dunno if I'm allowed to post here, if not I'll remove:

and click on the 80GB sata on the left menu

I just bought one, fingers crossed :P
