For the past few weeks ive been seeing changes in Read Error Rate on my WD Red drive, I have contacted WD and they didn't seem overly concerned but said they would replace the drive
"As per the screenshot you have shared it shows that the drive Health and status is good, it shows that the drive is fine and can be used. If you still don't feel comfortable using the drive I can surely get the drive replaced for you as it still has a valid warranty."
This is the drive currently now
I have never seen a fluctuating RER rate and I got 2 other WD Red drives at 10TB that are fine.
Sometimes the info resets and it says current/worst is 100 and raw value 0 despite the worst being 94 before when I ran a virus scan on the drive (Done as a test to see what would happen, it went up into the 2-3mil raw value and went to 94).
Considering its still reporting good and there are no seek/reallocation changes how concerned should I be? The first time I am seeing this issue on a 12TB drive since its my first 12tb drive and despite a screenshot showing this
The history of said read error rates keep resetting as you can see here.
