About a year ago my 74gig raptor decided to pack in (blue screens, reboots ect) It was out of ocuk warranty and as i was upgrading anyway just decided to buy a replacement.
A few weeks ago while moving i found the drive, and wondered if it was still in it's 3 year manufacturers warranty. So i had a look on line and was surprised to see i had 3 months left. So i entered all my details on their rma website and sent it off in the post (cost of £6) A couple of weeks went past and nothing, so i logged on to the website only to find it saying still awaiting the drive, so i just forgot about it and thought that royal mail had messed up (not for the first time)
Well this morning i had an up's man knock my door, holding a parcel for me. Open it up and it's a brand new 74gig Raptor
. That great service considering my old drive was almost 3 years old. Granted i had to wait a little over a month for it.
