Wd/Seagate?

Im in the need for a new a new large hard drive for media storage but i cant decide between these too, The Western Digital Caviar RE2 500GB or a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB, Is there much difference between the too in terms of speed and quietness.

While I own neither personally I'd buy the 7200.10.

You'll hear nothing but praise for these drives on all forums, Seagate has a solid product and has solid service. They are much loved, and it's for a good reason.

There are concearns over noisy 7200.10 drives but its pot luck wether you get one or not. iwould recommend taking the chance on what drive you got as my 2x 250GB were silent!
