WD Secureconnect cables (SATA)

Hi

I've recently bought a new drive with secure connect cables. I've noticed that the connector goes onto the power connector on the drive as well. Does the cable provide the drive with power or does the old style 4 pin connector have to be plugged in as well?

The cable actually covers both the SATA power connector and the actual sata connector on the drive at the same time while only having a sata cable going into the motherboard and no connection to the PSU? there is a 4-pin connector on the drive as well but I'm not sure wether I should plug this in as well?
