Hi, so ive moved my setup into a new case no problems, but i cannot get this hard drive to work. Im trying to use it with a sata 3.0 cable which Is connected to one of the sata 6gb connecters on the mobo. I booted up the pc with my old drive still in and got a "no virtual disk!" message on start up, looking in the bios both hdd's are present and upon exiting the bios windows booted as normal through my old drive.
I then restarted and went into bios remembering i need to set the sata mode from ide to ahci, rebooted and again the "no virtual disk!" showed on boot, but this time it just seems to restart itself after exiting bios and I get stuck in this loop. What am I doing wrong?
Im wanting to install my os onto this drive and have it as my
Main drive and use my old hdd as a extra drive.
