I've been looking into getting an M2 NVMe SSD drive. I thought the interface was PCIE (2x or 4x) but then come accross drives like this...
WD Black P50 NVMe SSD Game Drive.
"Shaped by performance with SSD speeds up to 2000MB/s to decrease load screen times and get you into the game faster. "
"High-performance SSD with SuperSpeed USB (20Gb/s) interface for your PC or console."
Am i right in thinking USB3 is only 640 MB/s transfer? Is this some WD black magic "USB Superspeed" I am unaware of, or instead of marketing ploy to attract stupid people
Edit, just reading review it's seems like the latter
"...gaming marketing I supposed this contained a black series 7200rpm drive, while it's a simple 5400rpm one"
