Will the WDTV Live play 40 gig Blu ray Iso's streamed over a 10/100 wired network?

It will play 40gig blu-ray rips ripped to mkv without an issue on a wired connection. I will rip a blu-ray to iso and try it for you tomorrow.

Many thanks, I will have a WD 1 TB Nas and would like to stream all my movies to the WDTV Live. Hopefully it will be fine.

I just got one for my bedroom TV and it plays everything I have tried from a Synology NAS box.

It even plays recorded TV files form Windows Media Centre which a lot of internet posts advised wasn't possible, this does however max out my E6600 CPU running at 3ghz in my HTPC when transcoding HD recordings but it plays OK on the WDTV. I am sure a i3 or i5 processor wouldn't have such a high CPU load.

I ripped a blu-ray to iso minus encryption and it played it fine.
