Not sure but wouldn't this require new GPU architecture to utilise fully? It is a good idea and hope to see it in games in the future.

Tbh, I'm not sure Of the benefits of voxels over ray tracing - it's just a pity that gaming gpus have become so dependant on shaders that they're useless at ray tracing.
