Ok so we got a very nice hand build bird table with a bird box built into the roof.
Is there anything we need to do in order to get the birds to nest in it, or is it a matter of just waiting for the birds to realise it is there?
Is there a prime location that we can place it in the garden? Options we have:
We have a load of bird feeders in an apple tree already, we do get a few birds, but a problem is we have a few cats that stroll in which I think doesn't help, and if this wasnt the case we would get loads more.
Any tips on how to keep the cats away? I have tried soaking them with buckets of water but they still seem to come back after they have dried off!!
Any other tips will be great
Thanks

- Middle of the garden
- In one corner of the garden that has a row of conifers
- In another corner that has a line of bushes, which behind is a beck/stream & open fields (thinking about the wild life/food??)
