The UK's Britain's Muslim population is currently less than 3%. The percentage of Muslims registered to vote will be even lower. The percentage of Muslims who actually vote will be even lower.

So when you say "the Islamic vote is getting larger", what sort of numbers are we talking about here? :)

No one is saying that muslims are bomb packing terrorists, in fact if they were, there would be no issue. The issue is the fact that most muslims are hardworking people who get on with their lives. People seem unreasonable if they have a gripe with muslims, and to argue with it, is to lead to stigmatisation.

The issue is, and I doubt unless you are a brainwashed person, you would disagree is that the islamic population IS on the rise, and that the concentrated population of any demographic is invariably a bad thing, especially when you are discussing a religion that can be so twisted in its outlook.

I think you need to sit back and chill as my earlier comment was tongue in cheek...stop taking everything so seriously dude...personally as a muslim i couldnt care less if people hate us or not...makes absolutely zero difference to me and my daily life...until it does then ill do something about it but as of yet i havent had anyone abuse me for being muslim thankfully or else they wouldnt like what i would say back to them.

But anyhow carry on...as i said my post was tongue in cheek hence the smiley;)

An increase in the Muslim population is probably going to have the same effects on the dynamics of the UK as pouring hot water into bathtub full of cold water - ultimately an unnoticeable result.
 
spain was under muslim control as were a number of other european countries for LONG periods of time.

Source? And what do you mean by track record? Do you mean numbers killed? Countries invaded? peoples "converted"? Wholesale destruction of indigenous cultures.. whats your criteria? I'm assuming you have looked at the historical evidence and considered them side by side in an objective logical fashion?

You can pretty much say anything you like and back it up if your criteria is what you want it to be to favour your argument. :)
 
Can I marvel at the number of people who don't seem aware that Christanity was imported into our culture from the middle east...
