Also I don't deliberately put on odd socks but:

I only wear odd socks because its the only ones i can find at the time.

Or because one of them is missing. Why should I throw it away.

I hardly ever wear matching socks, I just grab the first two kinda same coloured ones out of the drawer and put them on. When they do match it's just luck. I have better things to do than pair up my socks.
If it is a fancy occasion though, then I'll try and wear matching ones.

Nope, just throw them on the drying rack then when they are dry just throw them into the underwear drawer.

How can you not really notice? does the big toe not make an impression in the sock, so that the next time you wear it if the big toe is now in where the little toe was it feels cramped, and the little toes feel excess sock?

Always wear odd socks drives the wife insane, she sorts them back into pairs and then I slowly mix them up again

I only own plain black socks and I still have to keep them in pairs. Gets on my nerves if one pair is slightly thinner or more comfy.
