indeed, i managed to get stuck on a new unused industrial state this evening about 300 yards from the ross. gritters depot, had to get a bloke with a jcb to come and pour literally about half a ton of salt for me :<

Note to self, dont try and go adventuring on unsalted compacted ice with downhill gradients with 255 section tyres, you might be able to get down the gradient but not back up

Snow had landed, it has stuck and looking at the street lights its very thick and blowing in in huge amounts. Could see the biggest snow fall for a long time if it stays like this.
