Web Development Placement

Hi, I've got an opportunity to get a web development placement at a local company for my study day/holidays. The company will be coming in to interview candidates for the role in a couple of weeks. I'm currently bricking it because i don't know the first thing about web development but i am eager to learn. They don't expect any experience but i would like to do some research and learn some basic skills before the interviews but dont know where to start.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest some areas for me to research and practise.

Find out what skill set the company is looking for. I suggest you start with HTML and CSS.
