Web hosting ?

Hi,

Just started designing a new site and already bought a domain name from 123 reg. Just wondering where you guys reccomend getting web hosting from ?

Not going to be a huge amount of traffic, reg 123 is about £2 a month, is that about as cheap as it gets ?

I use tsohost, seems good to me for the month I've been on.

I use UK2.net; although thats for an eCommerce site, not sure what its general web hosting is like.

Go for vidahost, they are great. Comes with telephone support.

If you want a decent UK host, someone like Vidahost would be hard to beat.
TSOHost also seems to be a decent one according to reports on this forum

Whoever you go for Google them first to sort the chuff hosts from those that will actually keep your site on line and isn't run for just pocketmoney

I have an account with both Vidahost and TSOHost. Both are very reliable. I know that Vidahost have great support too - not had the opportunity to try TSOHost's support yet.

Another vote for TSOHost. Used their support system for the first time today for a couple of minor issues, both of them were resolved within 5 minutes.
