Im after some some web hosting, but i google just comes back with a mass of sites i wouldnt trust without a recommendation. So, anyone got any good providers?
 
Vidahost have been absolutly fantastic for me, can't recommend them enough.

And Filezilla is a great free ftp client, I used to pay for SmartFTP until I realised I could get better for free.
 
Vidahost, can't recommend them strongly enough. I suggest though that you tally up how many recommendations you get for each host in this thread, then frm the top 3 just pick the best package that suits you. TSOhost and Vidahost were the two that I looked at, and Vidahost's £30ish package suited me better. :)
 
what do you need hosting?

I have a mass of space and bandwidth avail on my hosting package, perhaps i can give you some space and a database of two, for a small donation to a Charity or something.
 
To be fair his front page is 8.8 *MB* in size, so it's going to be slow no matter which hosting provider he chooses.

All of the hosting providers recommended around here will do you a good service, just choose the one that fits your needs the best.

I was going to say the page loads very fast, I was aware of the photo's on the blog but didn't realise the page filesize. I was just wondering which package he was on with register1
