Whats this like?

Dad is thinking of going for the Flext 35 Web n Walk plan.

How reliable is it?

What do the pages look like on the phone?

And any other things you have to point out :).

Whats the deal with dual sim? Is it basically if u get a call on one sim u accept that, etc?

Say i have a work sim & a contract sim sort of thing?

It really is excellent, its fast and reliable. As far as how it looks, it depends entirely on the phone, it is access to the full internet. One issue I have with Tmob, is that the reception can be quite bad sometimes (breaking up making calls) and I'm in London.

Web 'n' Walk doesn't have an "interface" - it justs lets you access the internet. Therefore the appearance is completely dependant on the phone you choose. On my N95 it's really very impressive - on a more average phone it's much less impressive.

Ive noticed that as well, its pretty terrible reception wise where i work Docklands but i think its more to do with the N95...with mine it holds the call but the voice keeps breaking up so i have to literally stand in a certain corner of my office in order to make any sense of what the other person is saying to me.

Saying that though, with the new firmware ver12 the internet is now even faster..getting the small 3.5G icon and boy is it quick:eek:...quicker than my 8mb home connection:p.

My dad works in Docklands, so say he uses a Blackberry, will it be an improvement in signal?

Dunno mate, my P990i was perfectly fine in the Docklands before i switched over to the N95...my mates old nokia works fine as well and hes on tmobile.

Otherwise at home, east london my n95 is good as gold. I think its to do with the bouncing of the signal off the buildings here in Docklands. My old o2 contract was absolutely terrible...couldnt even get a signal let alone a call. Tmobile are better but like i said i think its the n95 thats causing the problem..

Because last time i used internet on a phone it was pretty terrible, just wanting to see what the improvements are on the N95.

Its the full standard web page, either landscape or portrait.

not getting smart, just telling it like it is. simple question, simple answer ;]
Hehe, reason for asking is ive seen it on some phones and its moving side to side to see full webpage, and also for example on different things such as PSP too.

Is the N95 currently the best for internet browsing?

Know of any good dual-sim mobiles?

For pure web browsing there probably are better phones such as Nokias E61i etc. etc.

The N95 is a competent all round "multimedia" mobile though.
Thought so.

Again, any decent dual sim phones around that will be good for internet access?

I kind of agree, but the N61i has a 2.8" Screen and the N95 2.6" - hardly that much difference. The best mobile for internet looks like the iphone - or maybe a pda style phone, they can have larger screens but are bulky, it comes down to what you want.
