Web Page Programming

Hi Guys

Im looking for a beginners guide to programming in languages such as PHP, SQL and even possibly Javascript. Im going back to University in OCtober to do my final year and since this year ive been doing a year out working, i seem to have forgot most of the stuff ive learnt so im hoping by going through a book this summer i can get back upto speed.

w3schools is excellent for the basics.

I also tend to find that downloading or checking out some scripts that people have wrote then having a fiddle with them on your local web server and trying to figure out how they work is good practice.
