OK I'm probably gonna explain this rubbish, but here goes:

Won't give the real URL, but I have a website called www.mywebsite.com with various links going off it.

But every link I click on, the URL in the address bar doesn't change, it still shows www.mywebsite.com rather than, for example, www.mywebsite.com/apage.asp

While this wouldn't normally be a problem, I'm having to "Request" from previous pages which are coming back as nothing because the QueryString doesn't appear to be properly populated.

Just what may be causing links that are clicked to not properly show the full URL in the address bar?

It sounds like your domain may be setup with a framed forward/re-direct to your actual webspace... without seeing the URL and the site in question, we can't say for certain though.

Thanks Daz, that's certainly pointing to something because we've been given the domain details from a customer so had no control on how it's been set up.

But will certainly investigate that.

Thanks.

What Daz said sounds likely, some sub-domains work like that, depending on host.

Well further investigation isn't 100% pointing to that.

Just discovered that one of our other sites (for same customer) has web-forwarding to a framed page and that's working fine.

Weird. will try and suss it on my own for now, but, might be crying for help in a bit!! :p
