This place is full of exactly the same kind of people though, except you're not allowed to swear here. If this forum wasn't branded a "family forum" (lol at that term for here) and you could type naughty words I bet you would. I think if you were posting there you wouldn't post such arrogant BS either. This place breeds moral high ground snobbery which just doesn't wash because it's so unrealistic. Reading between the lines all I usually see is overopinionated guff blowing from the arses of young men.

You're even being snooty about this very forum ffs, now that is mentally retarded.

Wikipedia. I can waste hours reading up on stuff that's piqued my curiosity, before I go flitting off into a rabbit's warren of related articles and eventually end up reading stuff on a complete tangent to what I was looking at in the first place.

so true. Especially when it comes to wars, randomly.
 
There will always be other forums where people prefer to go - we have well established rules here, if people don't like it then there are other forums where people can go and swear and take the **** out of each other and/or be nasty to people, but as long as people post on here they'll have to stick to the rules. Sorry if it's annoying, but we do try and keep it relatively PG here - sure sometimes some threads get out of line, or we miss things but ultimately the forums are what you make of it.

I'm a member of other forums and I like the fact that some of them are centred around my hobbies and the rules are different, however you have to bear in mind that they are not run off the back end of a business, it's just a bunch of friends and as such we know the implications of our words, we know our mannerisms and "get" one another etc... I enjoy the vast community and the spectrum of people we have here - sure we don't all see eye to eye, I'm sure some people probably dislike me (:() but there you go, I have to do my job as a moderator and that does mean suspending people,. but I also try and contribute to the forums as a member. I don't always spam :o *ahem* :D

Please don't start a forum vs forum debate - it serves no purpose.

I'm not going to say, "if you don't like it then **** off" - because despite whatever run ins I like to see people here and interacting and contributing to the forums - just please remember that we do have rules here, and if you want to let off some steam go to the other ones and come back when you're ready to contribute!

As for me, I enjoy spending time on youtube, bodybuilding forums/sites, ocuk, bbc news, and a couple other forums I help run and contribute to, oh and the dreadful facebook! :o

Simply replacing some of the letters in a swearword with a * or any other character is not acceptable. If you must then please replace the whole word with ***** or other repeated character. We also expect members to behave respectfully and not launch personal or abusive attacks on other members.
