Webcam software

Just got an eyetoy to mess around with and it's working fine.
Just wondering what software I could use for recording video clips with?
I know nothing of that kind of software So any suggestions would be great

VirtualDub would look to be your kind of software

Oh, and it's free.

As it says on that page it isnt going to be as powerful as some apps, but if it's just for having a wee play and a mess around then you could do far worse
