does anyone know of any software (free or bought) that can block websites....i want to stop access to certain websites, preferably password protected too if possible.

You mean like a parental control type thing? F-Secure Internet Security has that option.

erm yeah i suppose thats what it is. basically something to stop access to websites. and to block sites with a password so people cant go and re-enable access

Yeah, I think most commercial AV/Security programs these days have password protected parental control, F-Secure definitely does.

does norton internet security do this? i have got it but never load it up as it always seems to slow down my machine
