Webpage issues

I'm really not sure if this should be software or internet....

For a while now I've had a problem with web pages. This happens with either I.E or FF. I can happily be surfing away with no issues, launch another window for another page browsing and my homepage won't load. It will just sit on connecting to site 212.58 etc etc. A refresh does nothing yet I can open that same page in another window and it will load fine. Changing the webpage in the window that won't load does the same thing.

My router is not disconnecting and xbox live stays connected.

Any ideas?

This is exactly what i'm getting. I can refresh the page that doesn't want to load or change the webpage and the same result.

Yet the very same page in the left window works

I've reset internet explorer settings to default and reset the router to default and still the same thing....

ISP?

Changed anything or installed any app recently? Has the AV or firewall app updated?

Is it always with the second window, i.e. does it never happen with the first window?

Looking through my system restore the only recent program is AVG updating to 8. No it's not always the 2nd window and it's not one website either.
