Webpage load problem

i recently got a problem, I can't connect some webpages which had no problem before?
I tried run safe mode on firefox, but it doesn't seem to help.
i can visit the webpage in IE?
got any idea what is wrong with Firefox?

try running anti malware bytes and search and destroy bot, more then likely some sort of malware/trojan etc

I think is more like a proxy problem, because I can use web proxy to access the page?
i am not into network stuff, can someone help with proxy?

Are you using a proxy for your Internet access? Do you use Firefox as your main browser? If so go to Tools > Options then click on the Advanced icon on the tab then choose Network from the sub-tabs. Where it says 'Connection' click on the 'Settings...' button.

You'll see four radio buttons, No proxy, Auto-detect proxy settings for this network, Manual proxy configuration and Automatic proxy configuration URL.

Which one is selected?

it selected no proxy.
but I used this setup before, I have no idea why the webpage will not load now, would it be purely internet connection, even though I can access the web page through a web proxy?

When you say you can access the page through a web proxy what do you mean?

web proxy, like http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml
i used to read fictions online, so I used to visit website which written in Chinese, so the website's server is in China, atm I can;t load the page, but with the web proxy I can get it loaded?

i had problem with my browser firefox worked chrome and ie mucked up turned out to be proxie settings dont know how they changed anyhow all sweet now
