Webpage Loading issues

Hi Guys,
I think this may be a DNS issue of some sort but when I am loading webpages they would sometimes hang and only fully load when I refresh the page?

My DNS settings are set to the following

192.168.1.1 - main Router on my network
192.168.1.11 - Lion Server running DNS

It can be annoying sometimes and is something I would like to get to the bottom of with your help.

Why are you using a lion server, try pointing straight to Google's DNS servers to see if the problem still exists. If it goes away then it's something to do with your Lion Server configs.

Just changed them, will give them a go for a while and report back any issues.

I thought you needed to point your mac at lion server if your running open directory?

Ok I changed the DNS settings yesterday on all static machines and on my DHCP server. I'm still experiencing the same issues, this morning nearly all web pages get to a certain stage, stop and will only load if I refresh the page? All browsing this morning has been on my iPad.

Any ideas

Still getting the same problems guys, I have changed my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Any other possible solutions.

what isp? if the isp has issues in your area or your line has issues no amount of dns tweaking will help...

May be the ISP; I've had similar problems to what you're describing.

Current ISP is o2, I am changing to BT infinity in March so hopefully this will have a positive effect, I will keep posting back with any further updates

I have had infinity for 3 or 4 months, it is great speed and latency wise, though the odd time I get pages just not loading (Chrome indicates it has finished loading, but blank browser window). Happens every couple of days for a few minutes on a variety of devices
