im looking to implement my own webserver.

atm i have

voip/mail server(elastix)
Nas(freenas)

is there a lamp server distro that only comes with basic web server services

ie mysql.php,apache etc

i dont want samba/file sharing etc

update. previously i was using fedora. as i found the gui easier to manage,

but i feel its abit overkill.

someone mentioned "Eisfair" distro. has anyone got any experience with this. thanks

Ubuntu JeOS or SUSE JeOS ? Also, if you have access to SUSE studio you could customise your own appliance.

CentOs if your use to the fedora/red hat way of thinking, you can customise the install to suit

Debian base install, then manually install a desktop if you want (either "kde-base" or "gnome-base").
