I am doing some text for a website that provides services to small businesses.

The layout is:

Homepage - this is the main page NOT SURE WHAT TO PUT HERE

Services Page - this will have some text about what services the business will provide with links to 3 other pages, see below
Service 1 - describing service
Service 2 - describing service
Service 3 - describing service

About Us - this will be a brief history and background to the business and the owners

What shuld go on the homepage if the information about the business and what it offers is going to be on the SERVICES and ABOUT US section. Should it be like a small welcome note liek an introduction on an assignment.

You could do a brief lowdown of what the company offers and what they are all about with "read more" or "learn more" links. These would then link through to your other pages.

A small and brief mission statement might also be good to give a quick idea of the company and what it represents.
