Hi all,
I've been tasked with updating our company intranet website however I am having some problems. For a start, its written in HTML with CSS in each HTML file and uses lots of JScript.
When you connect to the main page it seems to be split using a table. The top half of the table is the menu system and the bottom half is the main page, this then changes depending on what you then click.
Not too keen on it so I am looking at rebuilding it with decent XHTML & CSS, then bring either PHP or JScript in later on (depending on which I decided to learn
)
The main problem at the moment is that as soon as you enter the web address it starts to connect to the main page but a login popup appears with the following message:
Is this something that the server owner has setup for us or is this part of the website?
Our old IT person had a fallout with the managment so they decided to move to digipigeon, this peeved the IT guy even more and he left and it seems that no one here has a clue. Digipigeon are taking far too long to reply.
Hoping someone can answer me this
EDIT: and has anyone got a link to decent guide for creating drop down CSS menus?

The server *******.digipigeon.com at ****** requires a username and password.
Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection).
