Website mock-up C&C

Just thought I'd bump this rather than creating a new thread.

Site is going live tomorrow, so if anyone's bored and has a few spare 3 minutes take a look at http://new.idoweddingfilms.co.uk and let me know if anything is borked or quirky lookin' :) (excluding the blog which won't function properly until it's on the root domain). Thanks!

Very nice.

I'm nitpicking here, but:

Could do with some better navigation active states, maybe a little arrow, bigger text, ligher button background, different colour to rollover maybe?

Form input text is too small (border size to font-size ratio)

Contact page - phone number is in an untraditional format, not semantic, thus skype doesn't pick it up as a phone number.

The quick contact form in the footer - I'm not sure what the word 'wedding' is there for?

Thanks rick. Might take a look at some of those points.

Contact page - phone number is in an untraditional format, not semantic, thus skype doesn't pick it up as a phone number.

Could you expand on that? ie Why isn't it a traditional format or semantic? Genuine question :).

The quick contact form in the footer - I'm not sure what the word 'wedding' is there for?

That's the captcha image (hence the 'Type the word above here' input below). Not obvious enough?

i thought it was

It's not grouped very well.
Looks more like a heading than a captcha image.

Of course, If I had intended to fill out the form I would have read all of the things and noticed the 'above image' text, but I was just skimming through and it's not that intuitive.

Regarding the phone number, see here:

http://skype.otherlinks.co.uk/page.asp?id=toolbar_number_formatting

Skype looks for the format xxxxx xxx xxx by default - which is kind of standard.
If you don't put a phone number in that format then you have to use the method outlined in that link above to get skype to recognise a number.

Hiya mate, really nice site btw! Small grammatical error in the PAckages section under dubbed music:

Dubbed music of your choice

We used dubbed music in all our wedding videos to aid the flow of your film.

And this part is completely up to you. We’ll also you for 3-5 tracks that you like and we’ll use these throughout the wedding video over areas such as the guests arriving at the ceremony and during the champagne reception.

Not sure if its just me or that doesn't read right?

Also, did you ahnd code the site or use tools?

Looks great Russinating, really clean and avoiding the run of the mill wedding themes on similar sites.

Can I be cheeky and ask what you are using for your blog?
