Gameplay, what ever happened to them?

Afaik - Gameplay were a Gamestation company as I remember the announcement the admins made, they were being dissolved into the main company.
Later on, Gamestation were bought out by Game.

Sad really, I loved their website, last thing I ordered was BF3 which happens to be one of the last physical games I own.

Talking of gaming, does anyone remember Popcap, Pogo and MSN Gaming Zone? Pogo was great for in-browser games i.e. multiplayer MS Hearts! Popcap was their nearest rival IIRC with their in-browser games e.g. Bejewelled. Then Bejewelled etc were spun off as desktop games so not to compete with Pogo any longer. This is going back about 15 years ago now. MSN Gaming Zone was great if you had i.e. Age of Empires II back in 1999 / 2000 and wanted to play against other players over the net.

I started out on their servers... Rv[Hades]. I'd been registered and posting on OcUK since Insomnia 99 but moved here full time when gameplay went under. Luckily OcUK had a similar shade of blue for their forums so the transition was easy :D

Loved gameplay in the early days.

Anyone remember barrysworld???

Gameplay was the go to PC games store back in the 90's, sadly last game I got from them I think was far cry, after that I think Amazon for a while then Steam slowly took over .... How times have change. Gamestation shut gameplay down in 2004 where it became game.co.uk I think? Can't fully remember.

The only drivers I ever needed

Fond memories. Loved the Omega drivers on the 9800XT and 850XT PE. I don’t think I ever had issues with those drivers.
