Same website, does not load at all in FF, I don't get it, eventually, maybe days, weeks later it'll decide to work again, but for now it won't load that specific website.

Any idea? Left is FF, not loaded the website, but right is IE and it loads fine.

Thanks
Will.

No, it's just 3.6, even if it is a beta, that's not the problem since every single build of FF I've used has the problem with this web page.

What website is it? I'll have a look and see if it loads for me. If it does then maybe there's an extension with Firefox messing things around?

Loads in Opera 10.51, Firefox 3.6 and IE8. :)

Might be worth disabling all your Firefox extensions, either in one go or one at a time, and seeing if the page loads then.

I had an odd problem similar to this and it turned out certain addresses had been added to a list of blocked addresses within a text document in the Windows folder.

I posted about this one the techspot forums years ago, so here is the link... what you are describing there is very similar to the problems I had, so this may help or it may not here is the link anyway.

Works fine here. Definitely suspicious of that build number in your titlebar, though. Is there no chance you could go with exporting bookmarks to a .html and installing firefox & deleting all folders related?
By which I mean any of these (Assuming Windows 7):

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mozilla

You will need to import the bookmarks from the html file again and reinstall any extensions, though.

There's no point doing that when you could just start a profile. Exporting to HTML is especially daft, you'll throw away your history, favicons etc.
