Quite surprised to see that myself, I thought lethal injection was all the rage these days.
It is. Some people ask for the electric chair.
I think their budget for the final meal is $20 but they can request as much as they want. I think this man would be going home disappointed.
It's not that uncommon for the lethal injection to be botched. Just imagine if the drug that paralysed you was effective, but the one that prevented pain was not! I'd rather have a Green Mile style dry sparky than that.

What was the name of that au pair who was suspected of killing the children that she was supposed to look after? It happened in the USA, I remember say around 10/15 years ago every news station dedicated all the time they could on it. I think her name was Louise..

So 19 US murderers were executed in the first 5 months of 2007, and 14 of them were in Texas. Is it some kind of murder/execution hotspot or something?
