I've been asked by my brother to make the cake for his wedding(!). I would describe myself as a bit of an amateur baker - I enjoy baking but haven't tackled anything as delicate/challenging as a wedding cake..! Having never done this before, does anyone have any knowledge or tips to share?
My plan at the moment is to do 4 tiers (there are 150 guests), with the top tier being traditional fruit cake (as requested by the bride). Other than that, and the fact the colour scheme is cream, silver, baby pink, I have complete flexibility.
So, any bakers in here? What would you do? Stacked or not? Tiered stand or not?
Thanks for any contributions.

So can't offer much advice there, good luck with it though and share your pics!
