All C&C welcome.

I quite like some of e compositions, though some seem a touch over exposed for me

Aye, just got a similar comment and double checked most of my shoot's histogram and yes, they are about 1/3 overexposed. Need to keep remind myself when I do another shoot this Friday :S

To be brutally honest the skin-tones look fluorescent and over-exposed, either your screen or mine is off (admittedly might be mine, haven't reinstalled the Spyder after OS reinstall). 12 and 14 are inconsistent in style with the rest. Compositionally good.

I agree with both points.

You need to colour correct, pull down exposure and keep the processing the same. :)

It's the PP I'm using, makes the shadow a little bit more blue, whilst I adjust the exposure and saturation to balance it out. As for fluorescent, the it's not quite so on my screen - though it is the same profile I calibrated 6 months ago...
As for the 2 inconsistent shot, there's something I need to learn in PP/ I can post all shots consistently but once I'm indoor and any hint of tungsten lighting, my PP goes out of the window, either too orange or green. BAH!

Did you shoot raw? You can try to use that to put it more right
I did, and will look to reprocess them again.

I actually REALLY like the look in 12 & 14, it has that vintage look. :) i actually WANT that look but dunno how to do it lol

The first half have an ISO of 640 and the latter pictures around 400. They seem to be taken outdoors on a sunny day, is there a reason for the high ISO?

Ok...full pic isn't so "vintage" It looks over exposed and the yellow comes from the marquee and not the processing...you really need go colour correct these, and tbh, shooting in day light, they shouldn't need any tinkering at all.

TBH the overexposure it nasty, looks like you've used far too much fill in flash as well for a few of these.
You desperately need to recalibrate your screen if the last time you did it was 6 months ago... I redo mine before editing anything important... and a Wedding set is something important...

Edit - and on second look, some of those are soft as well...

Cheers for the comments guys, I'll look into getting a calibrator soon then.
I'm only assisting and the PP is done in studio system, whilst these are done at home at leisure (also to double check I didn't fuzzed up some shots).

PP is something I'm still practising and working on. Any advise is appreciated :)

The first thing that struck me is the over exposure, as already said. Should be easily fixed though! I often find that over exposed shots can be recovered quite well in PP, and often give really vibrant colours and low noise.

I love the perspective in #11, very unique shot which works for me :)

In principal i'd agree with that although one thing I dont like about it (and not too much Colin could do about it is the background) Theres a traffic cone to the left, telegraph pole and car to the right and for sale sign behind. Not sure how easy it would be to clone them out. :(

Quite like the group shot in 2 and of the male party, just tone down the exposure slightly. The group shot of the women is spoiled slightly with them looking in other directions (main photogrpaher and something else) but again that cant be helped.

Taking on your advises, apart from getting my screen calibrated, I've toned down the exposure and did a completely new PP style. Hope this is better :)

Looks loads better - the groom seems to change colour a few times (pale and red), but this might just be English complexion and flushing! Those're some orange bridesmaids in 3b (3rd and 4th from left), fake tan I assume!
