Anyway, wet windy wedding today~ Here's my take on the wedding, with my own PP that's similar to my FujiFilm Superia colours / Olympus Trip 35 combo...

C&C welcomed :)

p.s St. Mary's Church in Beverley has the strictest vicar I've ever met. He literally forbid the use of photography the moment the bridge enters the church till AFTER the signing of the registration. A whole 30 minutes worth of shots which I kept spotting lost because he was an absolute tea-bag. Even warned me/threatened me he thrown a photographer out mid-ceremony last week when he snapped during the ceremony.

Some people are really up the narrow duct of inconsideration.

The photoshopping looks more consistent on my phone certainly. Quite like the scale of the church in the second image. Now did the bride show her leg in the final shot voluntarily or was it at your request :p

One of those kids appears to sport an iPhone, did you slap him?

:p

Other than that though a decent set of imagery!

Nice, I would say the saturation is a little to strong, but I think maybe that's what you were trying to achieve.

i love the high saturation look

wish i knew how to achieve it in lightroom however, nobody seems to want to tell me :(

As for the OP

nicely put together set :) 1 and 2 are crackers !

Contrast up
Brightness/Exposure up
Saturation up

Play around :)

Colin, some of these are nice, unfortunately it's mainly of the objects, like the church ones, the shampoo glasses etc, otherwise I'm not feeling these I'm afraid. Sorry mate :(

I agree, there are more on my facebook page if you're interested.

I was only assisting and was trying to capture bits and bobs my lady boss might have missed whilst busy with the bride/groom and group shots... I spent most of my time with the 50-150mm f2.8, grabbing candid and plays :)

Aye don't get me wrong, the images are there and you are starting out and like you say, assisting (know exactly where you are coming from) - How were you using the flash on some of these images mate? bouncing off ceiling? wall? stofen?
