What songs do you think would get the people up and dancing and generally having a great time? Looking at a few classics in there, and some more recently pop songs and perhaps the occasional house classic.

Suggestions? !

Smack my bitch up. This was gonna be my wedding dance but fore some reason she said no.

Seriously tho I find just about anthing fromthe 80's

It's normally the ladies who dance at weddings, guys stand by the bar so with that in mind....

Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer
Black Eyed Peas - Tonight's gonna be
House of Pain - Jump Around (probably depends upon the age range)
Kylie - Can't get you out of my head (Mum's tend to like that one)
Anything Girls Aloud
B52's - Love Shack
Abba - Dancing Queen
Anything fast moving from Jacko to encourage drunken male relatives who think they can moonwalk to strut their funky stuff

I must have been to a 1000 weddings and they all go like this:

You walk in and up to the buffet the DJ plays whatever he likes with everybody sitting down moaning.
During the buffet he will put some waltzes on and after the buffet he starts properly with the obligatory Wham song.
What follows is complete dire with 14/15 year old girls loving it and around 10:30 he will put the obligatory 5 or 6 songs of Motown on followed by the same number of rock n roll songs.
YMCA will ALWAYS be played but sometimes Agadoo isn't.
Round about midnight one rock song will be put on where an older uncle & aunt will get up and try and do the Status Quo hand on the hips dance while completely getting it wrong.
A couple of modern ravey type tunes will be put on and then by 12:30 Lady In Red will be the last smoocher of the evening.
